GGPoker has resolved a software bug affecting its ongoing All-In Fortune Jackpot promotion. The error caused the jackpot feature to trigger less frequently than advertised, with winning hands activating the bonus only 1.6% of the time instead of the stated 2.0%.

The bug, identified by GGPoker’s engineering team, was patched on April 4, 2023.

In an official blog post, GGPoker revealed that 74,704 players were affected by the miscalculation. Of these, 28,572 players received less than they should have, while 46,123 players actually received more than intended. The overall discrepancy amounted to approximately $18,000, although GGPoker did not specify whether that figure represented underpayments or overpayments in total.

To make amends, GGPoker has added $36,000twice the discrepancy amount—to the jackpot pool.

“We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this error,” GGPoker stated. “Please be assured that we took immediate action to rectify the issue.”

Players can review the full terms of the All-In Fortune Jackpot promotion and other ongoing offers on GGPoker’s official website.
