Sports Betting & Casino Summit North America to debut virtually in 2020

As the gambling industry continues to adapt to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, a brand-new conference is preparing to make its debut. The Sports Betting & Casino Summit North America, scheduled for June 23–24, 2020, will bring together leading voices from across the U.S. and Canadian gambling sectors — all under one virtual roof.

Though this year’s event will be held online, organizers from Hipther Agency plan to transition into in-person conferences in 2021, hosting live editions in both the U.S. and Canada.

A Virtual Event With a Big Agenda

This inaugural summit will feature two days of networking and in-depth discussions, specifically designed for:

  • Regulators

  • Operators

  • Marketing Managers

  • Suppliers

  • Policy Makers

  • C-Level Executives

The conference’s agenda is especially relevant as both online and land-based gambling industries begin to restart operations in the wake of pandemic-related shutdowns. Sessions will explore the current landscape of sports betting and casinos in North America, address the challenges the industry faces, and highlight the opportunities for innovation and growth.

“We are launching Sports Betting & Casino Summit North America in order to bring our boutique-style format to the region and also encourage quality learning and networking possibilities,” said Zoltán Tűndik, Co-Founder and Head of Business at Hipther Agency. “Our plans included this expansion in 2021, however, due to the current situation, we are offered a unique opportunity to prove ourselves in the region.”

Filling the Gap Left by Live Events

While many major industry conferences have been postponed or canceled, the shift to virtual summits is proving to be an effective way to connect professionals and share insights in real-time. With a high demand for market updates, regulatory guidance, and business continuity strategies, events like the Sports Betting & Casino Summit North America are becoming essential.
