15-time WSOP champion donates time and experience in ALL IN Challenge fundraiser

As part of the ALL IN Challenge, a celebrity-driven fundraiser aimed at supporting COVID-19 relief efforts, poker legend Phil Hellmuth has stepped up in a big way. The 15-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner auctioned off a once-in-a-lifetime experience that included a two-hour personal poker coaching session and a stay at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

The auction closed on Sunday night with an anonymous bidder contributing $17,500, all of which will be donated directly to charities working on the front lines of the pandemic.

A High-Stakes Lesson for a Worthy Cause

The winning bidder didn’t just secure coaching from one of the most decorated players in poker history—they also get to bring along eight friends to join the session. The package includes three rooms at the luxurious Aria Resort, making for a truly unforgettable experience.

Hellmuth’s contribution is part of a broader initiative with the goal of raising $100 million for six organizations focused on food security and hunger relief. So far, the challenge has raised an impressive $21 million, with contributions continuing to roll in.

“We want to feed people,” said Hellmuth in a promotional video. “We can’t have people going hungry. People are losing their jobs. There is a lot of suffering out there.”

Hellmuth also used the moment to challenge fellow poker icons Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey to join the effort, encouraging them to donate their own time or experiences to support the cause.

Celebrities Going ALL IN

The ALL IN Challenge has attracted stars from all walks of life. Beyond Hellmuth’s offer, fans can bid on experiences such as a batting lesson from Alex Rodriguez, or a private magic show and lesson from David Blaine.

For poker fans and philanthropists alike, Hellmuth’s offer represents a rare chance to learn from a true legend—while making a real difference for those affected by the ongoing crisis.
